Rach Gia is the provincial capital of Kien Giang province. It is contiguous to Tan Hiep and Chau Thanh districts on the East, Thai Lan Golfe on the West, Chau Thanh and An Bien districts on the South, Hon Dat and Tan Hiep districts on the North.
Upon arrival Rach Gia, you can see Three Entrance Gate (cổng Tam Quan, in vietnamese). This is considered as a symbol of Rach Gia City. Gateway to the city of Rach Gia is an architectural monument, bearing the traditional culture of Vietnam.
Rach Gia is the only coastal city in the West of Vietnam and it has a lot of potentialities about tourism. This city has many historical sites that have been classified as: Nguyen Trung Truc Temple, Tam Bao Pagoda, Lang Cat Pagoda, Pho Minh Pagoda
