Depart from Can Tho City to Cai Son canal by shuttle boat. Then take a bike ride long the path of fruit orchards, and sometimes you may also hear the birds singing; cocks warbling at sunset. Drop by one orchard, small woodwork shop. Next continue to go along Nuoc Lanh creek (or Cold Water creek). Over here, you may catch the picture of children bathing in the river, ladies rowing boat to bring fruits home after harvest. You can enjoy the full of plainness, quietness of the southern countryside and hospitality of the Mekong delta locals. You will be back to boat so as to relax, view the sunset, look the locals back home after a hard-working day, and see ships and boats returning home for dinner. When night gradually comes, you may send your wishes to lotus-like lanterns in the river. After that, boat takes you back. End of the program
