DAY 1 - HO CHI MINH - TRA VINH[D]
In the morning, our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer you to Tra Vinh. The journey takes approximately four hours, during which you can relax and enjoy views of the Mekong Delta countryside as you travel through peaceful rural landscapes and local towns along the way.
Nestled in a quiet village amid lush rice fields, Thala Tra Vinh offers a peaceful retreat beneath the shade of coconut trees. Upon arrival, you are warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink before settling into your bungalow, where the gentle rhythm of the countryside sets the tone for a relaxing stay.
In the afternoon, explore the art of Khmer performing mask making, a traditional craft closely connected to local ceremonies and celebrations. This hands-on cultural experience offers insight into the artistic heritage of the Khmer community.
Later, take part in a cooking activity to prepare “Cốm Dẹp,” a beloved Khmer specialty made from young sticky rice delicately flattened and blended with rich coconut milk. Soft, fragrant, and comforting, this traditional treat reflects the simple yet refined flavors of the Mekong.
As evening approaches, enjoy a dinner featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared in traditional style. The day concludes with an enchanting Apsara dance performance, where graceful movements and rhythmic music showcase the spirit of Khmer culture, bringing communities together during festivals and special occasions.

DAY 2 - TRA VINH - BACK TO HO CHI MINH[B/L]
Start the day with fresh air and a relaxing breakfast before setting off on a cycling journey through the peaceful countryside of Trà Vinh. Pedal along quiet rural roads in Cầu Kè district, passing lush rice fields and tropical fruit gardens, where daily life unfolds gently and naturally.
Along the way, stop at Mrs. Thịa’s home to learn about local lifestyles and traditional livestock farming practices typical of the Mekong Delta. Continue cycling to a nearby rice milling house, where you can observe how rice is processed using time-honored methods still preserved by local families.
The journey then leads to a Khmer pagoda, where elegant architecture and tranquil surroundings offer insight into Khmer Buddhist culture and spiritual traditions.
Before returning, pause at Thala Rest Stop to enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding rice fields. Here, you will meet local farmers and learn about Trà Vinh’s specialty — the creamy Macapuno coconut. You will also be introduced to the “mù u” tree, a native plant traditionally used to produce natural oil and handmade torches.
Conclude the cycling experience by tasting fresh Macapuno coconut in the serene countryside before returning to Thala Trà Vinh
