5. What should I bring for the trip?
Light clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and your camera. A reusable water bottle is also recommended.
6. How long is the drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre?
The journey takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours by private vehicle, depending on traffic conditions.
7. Is travel insurance required?
Travel insurance is not included in the package price. We strongly recommend that all travelers arrange personal travel insurance before departure.
8. What if we want to extend the stay in the Mekong Delta?
We can help customize your trip — adding extra nights, visiting more areas like Can Tho or Tra Vinh, or combining with another destination. Please contact our travel consultant for a tailored itinerary.

Tour Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

  • For day tours, full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

  • For multi-day tours, a 30% deposit is required upon booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 3 days before departure.

  • Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or cash at our office in Ho Chi Minh City.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 7 days before departure: Full refund minus any bank or transfer fees.

  • 3–6 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.

  • Within 48 hours before departure or no-show: No refund.

  • In case of force majeure (weather conditions, natural disasters, etc.), we will do our best to reschedule or refund based on actual circumstances.

3. Changes to Itinerary

  • Minor changes may occur due to weather, river conditions, or local events. Our guide will inform you in advance whenever possible.

  • Substitutions of similar accommodation or services may be made without prior notice, ensuring equal or higher quality.

4. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in the tour price. Guests are strongly advised to arrange their own travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.

5. Responsibility

  • Mekong Delta Tours and Asia Pacific Travel act as agents for transportation companies, hotels, and local operators. We are not responsible for loss, damage, injury, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
